A highly customizable car, the new Dodge Charger gives drivers a variety of ways to configure their ride. There are six main trim levels available, with an increasing amount of power and features as you move up through the lineup. Options include:
- Dodge Charger SXT
- Dodge Charger GT
- Dodge Charger R/T
- Dodge Charger Scat Pack
- Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat
- Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye

True to its nature, the Dodge Charger is a powerful and capable beast that's just waiting to impress. To be sure, it's a great car for everyday driving and trips to the grocery store. Under the hood of the current Dodge Charger, Ithaca and Scranton, PA drivers get their pick of impressive powertrains. Which one you get on your particular model depends on which of the above trims you prefer. The lineup includes:
- A 3.6-liter V6 to start the collection. Standard for the entry-level SXT and GT models, it delivers 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
- A 5.7-liter V8 with 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque, standard for the Charger R/T model.
- Moving up to a 6.4-liter V8 for the Scat Pack model and look for a cranking 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
- The head-turning SRT Hellcat model's engine, which gets 717 horsepower with 650 pound-feet of torque from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8.
- The range-topping SRT Hellcat Redeye power comes from a more-powerful version of the previous engine, putting out 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque here.
Regardless of which of these trim and engine configurations you go for, you can look forward to standard rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available.
